Buying a puppy from Lonestar Farms is straightforward. Here's everything you need to know — from placing a deposit to bringing your baby home.
The Process
From Browse to Baby
Browse Available Puppies
Visit our Puppies For Sale page to see current litters. Each litter lists available puppies with colors, sizes, sex, and pricing. For upcoming litters not yet born, visit Future Litters to join a waitlist.
Call or Email Katherine
Reach out to discuss the litter you're interested in. Katherine personally answers every call and email — she'll tell you everything about the puppy's personality, parents, and what to expect. 936-714-2273 or lonestarfarms@msn.com.
Place Your Deposit
A deposit secures your spot and — for upcoming litters — your pick position. Earlier deposits get first pick when puppies arrive. Deposits are non-refundable.
- Miniature & Toy puppies: $500 deposit
- Teacup puppies: $1,000 deposit
Final Payment by 6 Weeks
Final payment is due when your puppy reaches 6 weeks old. If picking up at the farm, you may pay the balance in cash at pickup. We accept multiple payment methods — see below.
Take Your Puppy Home
At 8 weeks, your puppy is ready. They'll leave Lonestar Farms freshly groomed and fully prepared — see the complete list of what's included below.

Military Discount
$100 off
Available to all military veterans, active duty personnel, and their spouses. Military ID required — send a photocopy and Katherine will shred it after verification. Thank you for your service.
Multi-Puppy Discount
$100 off each
Purchase two or more puppies at the same time and receive $100 off each puppy. Must be established at the beginning — discounts cannot be applied after an invoice has been generated.
Discounts do not apply to puppies already discounted, cannot be combined with other offers, and do not apply to breeders.

How do I reserve a puppy?
Contact us by phone or email to discuss available litters. Once you decide on a puppy, a deposit secures your spot. For miniature and toy sized puppies the deposit is $500; for teacup sized puppies it is $1,000.
Is the deposit refundable?
Deposits are non-refundable. Please make sure you are committed before placing a deposit.
When is final payment due?
Final payment must be made by the time the puppy is 6 weeks old.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, Bank of America/Wells Fargo transfers, credit card, and cash at pickup.
Do you offer a health guarantee?
Yes — we offer a 10-year health guarantee to all pet-home puppies while feeding NuVet Vitamins.
Are your puppies AKC registered?
Yes. Every puppy comes with official AKC registration papers.
Do you ship puppies?
Please contact us to discuss shipping options. Many families drive to pick up their puppy at Lonestar Farms.
Do you offer ear cropping?
No. Ears will be floppy — we do not offer ear trimming.
Do you offer discounts?
Yes — we offer a $100 military discount for veterans, active duty, and spouses (ID required). We also offer a $100 multi-puppy discount when purchasing two or more puppies at the same time.
